Hypnotherapy is not stage hypnosis, mind control, or a trick. It is a focused, relaxed state that allows you to work with the subconscious patterns that often drive habits, fears, reactions, and self-limiting beliefs.
Many people already experience a form of light hypnosis when they become absorbed in a movie, book, television show, or daydream. Therapeutic hypnosis uses that natural ability deliberately and constructively.
The goal is to help your subconscious mind accept new instructions, new associations, and new possibilities so that change becomes easier, more natural, and more consistent.
You do not lose control. Most clients remember the session and remain aware of what is happening.
Hypnotherapy works with your goals. It is not about forcing you to do something against your will.
The work is focused on specific outcomes: breaking habits, calming fears, improving confidence, and changing old responses.
A limiting self-belief is often the biggest obstacle to happiness, confidence, and fulfillment.
We begin with a free consultation by phone, email, or Zoom. This usually lasts about 15–20 minutes. We discuss what you want to change, what has been holding you back, and whether hypnotherapy is a reasonable fit for your goals.
If your expectations are unrealistic, I will tell you that directly. If it appears that hypnotherapy may help, we can discuss the next step, session structure, and cost.
I am not interested in unnecessary lifetime maintenance plans. My goal is to help you make meaningful progress in a reasonable number of sessions.
I graduated from the Paul McKenna / Mindvalley certified hypnotherapy course backed by the International Alliance of Professional Complementary Practitioners.
I first became interested in hypnosis and self-hypnosis at age twelve, after dealing with anxiety, self-doubt, and confidence issues of my own. Over the years, I continued to use self-hypnosis as a tool for personal growth and change.
My background includes journalism, writing, publishing, and coaching. I now use hypnotherapy to help people address the inner blocks and automatic patterns that often limit their lives.
Sessions may be conducted in person where practical, or online through Zoom. Custom hypnosis audio sessions are also available when appropriate.
