About Me
By admin / May 1, 2026 / No Comments

Greetings. I am the author of ‘The Path of Duty and Honor’ co-written with bestselling author JC Ryan, ‘Texas Dead: A Season of Death,’ ‘Texas Dead: A Season of Despair,’ ‘Distant Rumors: 10 Short Stories,’ ‘Verisium: Conversations with AI on the Meaning of Life and Death,’ Novellas: ‘The Era of Synthetic Reality,’ ‘Multiplicity,’ ‘Limits,’ and ‘Team B: Saving Christ.’ with two novel scheduled for 2026.
I am also a Certified Hypnotherapist Coach (IAPCP) and live outside Boise, Idaho. You can click the HYPNOTHERAPY tab to learn more about how I can help you.
I started writing when I was in my twenties, mostly short stories and mostly for fun. I got a degree at Pepperdine University in Journalism/English, and did pursue that for a time. I was also a public school teacher for seven years until I became disillusioned with how badly we were educating students and how politicized the profession had become. I worked as a journalist for a California community newspaper, then published a different community paper for a few years before deciding to focus on writing.
I’ve always been interested in the “why” questions. If you have read my book Verisium, you know ‘why’ that came about. I see the world as a construct in defiance of the natural order of things, and yet there is a balance to be found. I enjoy technology. I welcome the future despite the current chaos. I see beyond the shiny objects put in front of us to distract us from reality.
It is my hope that my books are interesting to readers. I cross genres because I am not fixed in one genre over another. They all interest me. I hope they interest you, too.
Thanks for joining me on this journey. Stay in touch (Contact tab above—I reply quickly).
My best wishes,
